Crying on the Job



I feel proud when I look at this picture of our Governor, Charlie Baker. Crying on the job has traditionally signaled a lack of confidence but to me this shows humanity.


The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us all in ways we didn’t know were possible. Through these tough times a new type of leader is emerging and I like it. “Things like empathy, vulnerability, emotional connectedness - these are the things that define today’s leaders,” Pam Sherman, leadership coach.
