Imposter syndrome...it creeps into our thoughts and makes us doubt our self worth.
I’ve found myself struggling with it for my entire adult life and especially when I’m the youngest in the room or the only female. This little voice creeps into my head saying, what makes you think you deserve to be here, do you really think you can contribute anything to this conversation? Everyone here is so much smarter or more experienced.
I’ve been working really hard over the last couple of years to quickly realize what I’m doing in these situations and name it. When I do that, I’m able to transform the thoughts from anxiety and doubt to confidence and pride.
